My 10 favorite: Digital Marketing & Communication Examples
Stuck on how to reach your audience? Bored of your marketing?
Here are my 10 personal favorite examples of Digital Marketing & Communication.
As always, I am excited to share to inspire YOU to create content!
#1 VIDEO NEWSLETTER:
Email is one of the most reliable forms of digital marketing there is.
If you have an email marketing list, add video!
A video adds excitement to the newsletter content. You can showcase events, highlight personalities and more!
Example shared from my Dallas Junior Chamber videos for PR and Branding page
#2. “Conversational Marketing” Podcasting (VIDEO PODCASTING)
A video podcast is the new modern way to communicate with your audience. VIDEO + PODCAST is key to capture the social media/YouTube audience AND podcast audio audience.
EXAMPLE: TALK OF THE TOWN VIDEO PODCAST
#3 Linked In: Business Best friend
Linked in is taking center stage for social media and for good reason! Linked in provides a professional audience filled with connections where businesses can learn, grow, connect and thrive! Upload video to this platform and see how your business connections will pay close attention
#4. HYBRID EVENTS
Offering a virtual and in-person experience is KEY in 2022.
Not only does your audience explode with opportunity, take it from me with the PR side of things, it looks really good to have your brand offer both. Also, you will have content repurposing opportunities galore!

#5. ALIGNING PR and Marketing: Bring the PR people and marketing people to the table, I’m talking the same table.
The two functions complement each other perfectly. PR reaches new audiences and builds company credibility through third-party validation such as news media appearances, influencer buzz campaigns etc. Content marketing keeps those audiences engaged with the brand through consistent content. PR can even use the content that marketing creates to assist in media outreach.
A great way to warm up both teams is to create an internal yet public podcast show that captures important dialogue and theory to the conversation and use this exercise to both reach new audiences and create buzz.
Picture the CEO and an employee on an episode talking about their visions, storytelling and more. Or a happy customer episode that both PR and Marketing can listen to before the meeting.. perhaps on their way to work etc. Both teams will be energized by this show and have buy-in with their views and goals in mind to collaborate with marketing the show with PR goals in mind.
Example: The Leadership Show, these guys interview each other (employees interviewing employees) and cover edgy conversations when it comes to leadership styles.
#6. Micro influencer Marketing: Influencer/Brand ambassadors have added “human” to the equation. How do people use the brands, products, what are they saying about them, how do they interact. Bring these personas to your brand and watch your company become more relatable
#7. Go “LIVE” during unique events: Maybe it’s capturing a team event or going LIVE from the company location.
EXAMPLE: Team Building FB LIVE Sarah Crilley
#8. Go “LIVE” all day, a day in the life: People are facinated by the “day in the life” concept, especially the work place!
Here is my example of going “live” all day on Facebook Live and what our exciting day entailed.
Example: Real News LIVE all day
#9. Branding = Personal Branding
Let’s take a brand and make it personal. The story behind the brand, the customer experience of the brand. Branding and storytelling are ‘one in the same’ in 2022. A authentic way to promote your personal brand is using social media, especially trending platforms like Tik Tok.
#10. WRITING DIGITAL: Finding your voice: Blogs, Ebooks, Social Media Content
These are styles that are always “in” and very important. The way your “voice” is online should be approachable, friendly, conversational to attract and connect your audience. Using blogs, ebooks and social media are all tools to propel your digital narratives.
